In the middle game fight the knowledge for the correct Tesuji often decides about winning or losing. The knowledge about deciding fighting technics is not without cause the difference between Dan and Kyu players. A showing a good judgement is just as a basic as is Timing and the designation of the correct destination. This book contains 300 Joseki problems, who try to improve the choice, utilisation as well as the understanding of Joseki in the Fuseki. The communicated Joseki knowledge is essential for a Dan player.
The key to Joseki is not to learn them by heart, but to understand them. The introduced problems concentrate themselves on the key moves or Tesuji of the respective Joseki, so that the tactical designs behind this can be made transparent - for instance should I go for profit or thickness? Such descisions are basically demanded for all Joseki and are relevant for the cumulative strategy of the game.
The problems in these book aim at weaker Dan players, but can also be adequate for players from 5 Kyu or stronger.
